What are the candles made of?
Our candles are made from certified kosher and vegan soy wax and use high quality Australian made fragrance blends and essential oils that are cruelty-free and free from phthalates and petrochemical by-products. We do not use colourants or dyes in our candles and the finished product is a beautiful creamy, white colour. Soy wax burns at a cooler temperature than other waxes and, as such, is a perfect choice for a long burning candle.
How much burn time can I expect?
Our candles will burn for between 20-50 hours depending on size.
What are the important safety issues?
– Always place your candle on a heat resistant surface and never leave it unattended. Keep your candle away from children, curtains, animals and anything flammable.
– It is not recommended to burn your candle for longer than four hours at a time.
– Use a candle snuffer to prevent wicks from drifting off-centre and to avoid wax splash. This will help to maximise the candle’s burn time. Blowing out a candle is not recommended as the liquid wax may splatter and the wick may continue to glow and emit smoke.
How do I reduce candle smoking?
Candles should have their wicks trimmed to about 5mm every time before burning (and have all debris removed). Black residue may transfer if wicks are not trimmed. Remove any residue with a clean, wet cloth when candle is unlit.
How should I store my candles?
Store your candles in a cool, dark and dry place and keep like scents together. Candles have different melting points, so never leave candles in your car on warm days or in direct sunlight.
Are refills available?
Yes! We can refill your candle for a reduced cost provided you return the container to us in clean and undamaged condition.
