To ensure the best burn for your Bird and Bee soy candle, you should follow these steps:
Each burn should last long enough for the melt pool to reach the outer edges of the jar (at least one hour minimum) this is important so that the candle burns evenly, and does not burn a tunnel or crater down the middle.
TRIM THE WICK
After your first burn, trim the burnt wick to around 5mm in length (with either scissors or a wick trimmer) If the wick is not trimmed it may produce smoke and burn at a faster rate.
Each candle is lovingly hand poured, and therefore will have a unique appearance! Your candle may produce a little smoke around the top of the canister, if this happens simply wipe clean with a damp sponge when cool.
REFILL OR REUSE YOUR CANISTER
Housed in a stylish glass containers with wooden lids, Bird and Bee Candles can be refilled via our refill service or reused in a variety of ways! Simply rinse in warm soapy water to remove any left over wax and the wick.
It is important to never leave a burning candle unattended.
